हनूमद्बलप्रबोधनम् / Jāmbavān Rekindles Hanūmān’s Power
तस्या वस्त्रं विशालाक्ष्याः पीतं रक्तदशं शुभम्।स्थितायाः पर्वतस्याग्रे मारुतोऽपहरच्छनैः।।।।
tasyā vastraṃ viśālākṣyāḥ pītaṃ raktadaśaṃ śubham |
sthitāyāḥ parvatasyāgre māruto 'paharac chanaiḥ || 4.66.12 ||
جب وہ وسیع چشم دوشیزہ پہاڑ کی چوٹی پر کھڑی تھی تو ہوا نے آہستگی سے اس کا مبارک زرد لباس، جس کے کنارے پر سرخ حاشیہ تھا، اُڑا لیا۔
'While the large-eyed lady was stationed on the mountain top, the Wind-god gently let her auspicious yellow garment with red border fly away.
The ethical idea is subtle: actions (even by powerful forces) have consequences that shape events; dharma requires awareness and restraint, since even “gentle” acts can lead to further outcomes.
In Jāmbavān’s recollection, the Wind-god causes the woman’s garment to be blown away while she stands on the peak.
