दक्षिणदिशि सीतान्वेषण-आदेशः
Commissioning the Southern Search for Sītā
सा चन्दनवनैर्दिव्यै प्रच्छन्ना द्वीपशालिनी।कान्तेव युवति: कान्तां समुद्रमवगाहते।।।।
sā candanavanair divyaiḥ pracchannā dvīpaśālinī |
kānteva yuvatiḥ kāntāṃ samudram avagāhate ||
وہ ندی، جو دلکش چندن کے دیویہ جنگلوں سے ڈھکی ہوئی اور جزیروں سے آراستہ ہے، سمندر میں یوں اترتی ہے جیسے محبوبہ جوان عورت اپنے محبوب کے پاس جاتی ہے۔
'You will then come cross the great river Tamraparni infested with alligators. Cross it with the permission of the sage pleased (with you).
Dharma is purposeful movement toward one’s rightful end: the river’s steady course to the ocean mirrors steadfast commitment to a destined objective.
Sugrīva poetically describes the river’s confluence with the sea as the party advances toward the far south.
Steadfastness—maintaining direction and intent until the goal is reached.
