sa tu medhāvinau dṛṣṭvā vedeṣu pariniṣṭhitau |

vedopabṛṃhaṇārthāya tāv agrāhayata prabhuḥ || 1.4.6 ||

Translation

اُن دونوں کو ذہین اور ویدوں کے علم میں پختہ دیکھ کر، اس مہان پرَبھو (آچاریہ) نے اُنہیں تعلیم دی، تاکہ یہ کلام ویدوں کی تقویت اور تائید کا سبب بنے۔
