इति सम्भाषमाणे तु शत्रुघ्ने लक्ष्मणानुजे।प्राग्द्वारेऽभूत्तदा कुब्जा सर्वाभरणभूषिता।।।।

prāgdvāre 'bhūt tadā kubjā sarvābharaṇabhūṣitā ||

اسی طرح گفتگو کرتے ہوئے، لکشمن کے چھوٹے بھائی شترُگھن کے سامنے، مشرقی دروازے پر اُس وقت کُبڑی منتھرا نمودار ہوئی، جو ہر طرح کے زیوروں سے آراستہ تھی۔
