गङ्गातरणम्, सुमन्त्र-प्रतिनिवर्तनम्, जटाधारणम्
Crossing the Gaṅgā; Sumantra’s Return; Adoption of Ascetic Signs
राममेव तु धर्मज्ञमुपगम्य विनीतवत्।किमहं करवाणीति सूतः प्राञ्जलिरब्रवीत्।।2.52.12।।
rāmam eva tu dharmajñam upagamya vinītavat | kim ahaṃ karavāṇīti sūtaḥ prāñjalir abravīt ||
تب سوت نے دھرم کے جاننے والے رام کے پاس جا کر نہایت انکساری سے، ہاتھ جوڑ کر عرض کیا: “میں کیا خدمت انجام دوں؟”
Having crossed that mighty river, the high-souled Rama, bestower of boons and equal in splendour, to the Protector of the world reached Vatsa by and by, a highly prosperous country inhabited by happy people.
