اسے آتا دیکھ کر بادشاہ نے تخت چھوڑ دیا اور دریافت کیا؛ اور رشی نے عرض کیا کہ وہ کام انجام پا چکا ہے۔
Venerabel Vasistha, the best amongst the knowers of the Vedas, skilled in mantras and firm in his vows said to the king, 'Be it so.' Thereafter, mounted on the best of the chariots befitting a brahmin, with horses harnesed he proceeded personally to the abode of Rama to ask him to undertake a fast in accompaniment with mantras preceding the installation ceremony.
Dharma is truthfulness and accountability: the king enquires responsibly, and the sage reports the completion of duty plainly (satya in action).
Daśaratha rises from the throne on Vasiṣṭha’s arrival and asks about the mission; Vasiṣṭha confirms it is completed.
Daśaratha’s humility before spiritual authority and Vasiṣṭha’s truthful reporting are emphasized.
