kuśakāśaśareṣīkā ye ca kaṇṭakino drumāḥ |

tūlājinasamasparśā mārge mama saha tvayā ||

Translation

کُش، کاش، شَر اور اِشیکا کی گھاسیں، اور راہ کے کانٹوں والے درخت بھی—جب تک میں تمہارے ساتھ ہوں—مجھے روئی یا ہرن کی کھال کی طرح نرم محسوس ہوں گے۔
