Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
युनक्त्यर्थैः प्रहृष्टश्च तमसौ यत्र तुष्यति।।2.2.46।।शान्तै स्सर्वप्रजाकान्तैः प्रीतिसञ्जननैर्नृणाम्।गुणैर्विरुरुचे रामो दीप्त स्सूर्य इवांशुभिः।।2.2.47।।
yunakty arthaiḥ prahṛṣṭaś ca tam asau yatra tuṣyati | śāntaiḥ sarvaprajākāntaiḥ prītisañjananair nṛṇām | guṇair viruruce rāmo dīptaḥ sūrya ivāṃśubhiḥ || 2.2.46-47 ||
جب شری رام خوش ہوتے ہیں تو وہ خوشی سے دولت عطا کرتے ہیں؛ اور اپنی پرسکون خوبیوں کے ساتھ—جو تمام رعایا کو عزیز ہیں اور لوگوں کو خوشی دیتی ہیں—رام اپنی کرنوں کے ساتھ چمکتے ہوئے سورج کی طرح روشن ہیں۔
When pleased, Rama bestows wealth. Like the Sun shining with his rays, He shines with his qualities of tranquil, charming and loving nature.
