अनेन श्रेयसा सद्यस्संयोज्यैवमिमां महीम्।गतक्लेशो भविष्यामि सुते तस्मिन्निवेश्य वै।।2.2.14।।
anena śreyasā sadyaḥ saṃyojyaivam imāṃ mahīm | gata-kleśo bhaviṣyāmi sute tasmin niveśya vai || 2.2.14 ||
اس بیٹے کے ہاتھ فوراً یہ دھرتی سونپ کر، یوں اس کی بھلائی کو قائم کر کے، میں بےفکری اور رنج و مشقت سے آزاد ہو جاؤں گا، جب اسے اس میں بٹھا دوں گا۔
I shall be relieved of my anxiety by entrusting the land (ruled by me) to my son (Rama) without any more delay and thus ensure the continued welfare of this world.
Dharma includes timely delegation of power to a worthy successor so that governance remains stable and welfare continues.
