तद्ब्रूहि वचनं देवि राज्ञो यदभिकाङ्क्षितम्।करिष्ये प्रतिजाने च रामो द्विर्नाभिभाषते।।।।

tad brūhi vacanaṃ devi rājño yad abhikāṅkṣitam |

kariṣye pratijāne ca rāmo dvir nābhibhāṣate ||2.18.30||

پس اے ملکہ، صاف صاف بتائیے کہ راجا کی کیا خواہش ہے۔ میں اسے کروں گا—میں عہد کرتا ہوں؛ رام دو رُخی بات نہیں کرتا (اپنے قول سے نہیں پھرتا)۔
