اسے دیکھ کر میں بڑی خوشی میں ڈوب کر ناچ اٹھا۔ تب دیوتا نے مسکرا کر اُس رِشی سے کلام کیا جو راگ و رغبت کے فریب میں مبتلا تھا۔

Unspecified narrator (first-person voice); the 'Deva' addresses a sage

Concept: Joy can arise from seeing a marvel, yet the deva’s smile signals discernment: passion (rāga) can delude even a sage, requiring divine correction.

Application: Treat intense emotional highs as moments to check motives; ask whether delight is sattvic (gratitude) or rajasic (craving, fascination).

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: hasya

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A narrator-figure breaks into spontaneous dance, robes swirling, eyes shining with uncontained joy. A radiant Deva stands nearby with a knowing smile, addressing a sage whose gaze is clouded by passion—an ironic contrast between divine clarity and ascetic confusion.","primary_figures":["Deva (radiant celestial figure)","ṛṣi (rāga-mohita)","narrator/observer (dancing figure)"],"setting":"liminal celestial grove—part hermitage, part svarga—filled with flowering trees and faint apsaras silhouettes","lighting_mood":"golden dawn","color_palette":["celestial gold","sky blue","jasmine white","vermillion","emerald green"],"tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting style: central Deva with gold leaf aura smiling gently, one hand raised in instructive gesture; to the side a sage with conflicted expression, and a dancing figure mid-step; rich red-green textiles, ornate borders, gem-like highlights on crowns and ornaments.","pahari_prompt":"Pahari miniature style: airy celestial garden with delicate blossoms; the Deva smiling in calm poise, the sage slightly unsettled, the dancer animated; cool blues and greens, refined facial features, subtle humor in body language.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural style: strong outlines, stylized Deva with bright yellow halo, sage with expressive eyes showing moha, dancer in dynamic posture; red/yellow/green palette with decorative vine borders.","pichwai_prompt":"Pichwai cloth painting style: svarga-grove framed by lotus borders; central smiling Deva, sage seated, dancer to one side; deep indigo background with gold floral filigree, peacocks and stylized trees filling the margins."}

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"dramatic","suggested_raga":"Durga","pace":"fast-dramatic","voice_tone":"authoritative","sound_elements":["ankle bells","conch shell (soft)","celestial chimes","rustling leaves"]}

Sandhi Resolution Notes: संप्रनृत्तोऽहं = संप्रनृत्तः + अहम्; प्रहस्याब्रवीत् = प्रहस्य + अब्रवीत्; अब्रवीद्देव = अब्रवीत् + देवः (त् + द् → द्द्)।

FAQs

The verse is narrated in the first person (“I”), but the specific identity is not stated in the provided excerpt. It also reports that a “Deva” speaks to a sage.

It frames the sage’s state as “mohita” (deluded) due to attachment, implying that even spiritual seekers can be clouded by desire and require corrective instruction.

Joy and excitement are depicted, but the key ethical note is that passion (rāga) can distort judgment; guidance (often from a higher or wiser voice) is needed to return to clarity and restraint.
