एवं ते कथितो राजन्नर्मदागुणसंश्रयः । इतिहासो महापुण्यः श्रवणात्पापनाशनः

evaṃ te kathito rājannarmadāguṇasaṃśrayaḥ | itihāso mahāpuṇyaḥ śravaṇātpāpanāśanaḥ

یوں، اے راجن، میں نے تمہیں نَرمدا کے گُنوں پر قائم یہ نہایت پُنیہ اتیہاس سنایا؛ اسے محض سننے سے ہی پاپ نَشٹ ہو جاتے ہیں۔
