त्रिरात्रोपोषितो राजन्नग्निष्टोमफलं लभेत् । शाकवृत्तिः फलैर्वापि कौमारं विंदते परम्

اے راجن! جو تین راتوں کا اُپواس رکھتا ہے وہ اگنِشٹوم یَجْن کا پھل پاتا ہے۔ اسی طرح جو ساگ سبزی پر—یا صرف پھلوں پر—گزر بسر کرے، وہ کُومار کا اعلیٰ ترین مقام حاصل کرتا ہے۔
