Genealogy of the Ancestors (Pitṛs) and the Procedure of Śrāddha

सर्वकामसमृद्धेषु विमानेष्वपि पावनाः । किं पुनः श्राद्धदा विप्रा भक्तिमंतः क्रियान्विताः

sarvakāmasamṛddheṣu vimāneṣvapi pāvanāḥ | kiṃ punaḥ śrāddhadā viprā bhaktimaṃtaḥ kriyānvitāḥ

ہر مطلوبہ لذت سے بھرے ہوئے دیوی ویمان بھی پاکیزگی بخشنے والے ہیں؛ تو پھر شرادھ دینے والے برہمن—جو بھکتی سے بھرپور اور درست رسومات میں مشغول ہوں—کتنے زیادہ پاکیزہ ہوں گے!
