Genealogy of the Ancestors (Pitṛs) and the Procedure of Śrāddha

शूद्रोप्यमंत्रकं कुर्यादनेन विधिना नृप । तृतीयमाभ्युदयिकं वृद्धिश्राद्धं विधीयते

śūdropyamaṃtrakaṃ kuryādanena vidhinā nṛpa | tṛtīyamābhyudayikaṃ vṛddhiśrāddhaṃ vidhīyate

اے بادشاہ، شُودر بھی اسی طریقے کے مطابق بغیر منتر کے اسے انجام دے سکتا ہے۔ تیسری قسم ‘آبھْیُدَیِک’ مقرر کی گئی ہے—یعنی بڑھوتری اور خوشحالی کے لیے کیا جانے والا شرادھ۔
