FAQs

It uses ‘dvīpas’ as large territorial divisions—often understood as continents or major regions—implying a wide, structured world over which order and governance can be established.

The ruler’s journey is framed as goal-oriented and corrective: by ‘saṃprasādhayan’ he pacifies and regulates other rulers, suggesting the dharmic duty to restore stability rather than merely conquer.

Even in conditions of scarcity (‘ina-prāyām’), leadership is portrayed as responsible action—traveling, organizing, and restoring order for the welfare of the world rather than retreating into inaction.
