व्यास उवाच । मध्यदेशे स्वराट् सम्राट् भद्रेश्वर इति श्रुतः । तपोभिर्बहुभिः पूतो व्रतैर्नानाविधैरपि

ویاس نے کہا: مدھیہ دیش میں ایک خودمختار شہنشاہ بادشاہ تھا، جو بھدر یشور کے نام سے مشہور تھا۔ وہ بہت سی تپسیاؤں اور طرح طرح کے ورتوں سے پاکیزہ ہو چکا تھا۔
