वैशम्पायन उवाच । भगवंस्त्वत्प्रसादाच्च श्रुतं मे पावनं व्रतं । अपरं श्रोतुमिच्छामि ब्रध्नस्य च प्रियं च यत्

ویشَمپاین نے کہا: اے بھگون! آپ کے فضل سے میں نے پاک کرنے والا ورت سن لیا۔ اب میں مزید سننا چاہتا ہوں—یعنی برَدھن کو جو محبوب ہے وہ بھی۔
