सगजं युद्धनिर्भीता निजघ्नुर्बहुभिः शरैः । तथापि तद्गजं योद्धुं न शक्तास्ते महाबलाः

sagajaṃ yuddhanirbhītā nijaghnurbahubhiḥ śaraiḥ | tathāpi tadgajaṃ yoddhuṃ na śaktāste mahābalāḥ

وہ جنگ میں بے خوف تھے؛ انہوں نے ہاتھی اور اس کے سوار کو بہت سے تیروں سے چھید دیا، پھر بھی اپنی عظیم قوت کے باوجود وہ اس ہاتھی سے لڑ کر اسے مغلوب نہ کر سکے۔
