The Second Slaying of Namuci

प्राकृतं निर्जरं हत्वा न यशोस्ति न च प्रियम् । न लाभकृतकं वापि न जयस्तु पुरष्टुत

prākṛtaṃ nirjaraṃ hatvā na yaśosti na ca priyam | na lābhakṛtakaṃ vāpi na jayastu puraṣṭuta

اے پُرَشٹُت! کسی معمولی نِرجَر کو مار دینے سے نہ یَش (شہرت) ملتی ہے نہ دل کو بھانے والا پھل؛ نہ اس میں حقیقی فائدہ ہے، نہ یہ سچی فتح ہے۔
