Expansion of Creation through Dakṣa and Kaśyapa: Devas, Dānavas, Nāgas, Birds, and Cosmic Offices

मारीचात्कश्यपाज्जाताः पुत्त्रास्तेऽदितिनंदनाः । कृशाश्वस्य ऋषेः पुत्रा देवप्रहरणाः स्मृताः

mārīcātkaśyapājjātāḥ puttrāste'ditinaṃdanāḥ | kṛśāśvasya ṛṣeḥ putrā devapraharaṇāḥ smṛtāḥ

مریچی اور کشیپ سے پیدا ہونے والے، ادیتی کو مسرور کرنے والے وہ بیٹے یاد کیے جاتے ہیں؛ اور رشی کرِشاشو کے بیٹے ‘دیَو پرہرن’ یعنی دیوتاؤں کے الٰہی ہتھیار کہلاتے ہیں۔
