Boon, Portents, and Cosmic Restoration
विष्णुरुवाच । भयं त्यजद्ध्वममरा अभयं वो ददाम्यहम् । तथैव त्रिदिवं देवाः प्रतिपद्यत माचिरम्
viṣṇuruvāca | bhayaṃ tyajaddhvamamarā abhayaṃ vo dadāmyaham | tathaiva tridivaṃ devāḥ pratipadyata māciram
وشنو نے فرمایا: “اے امروں! خوف چھوڑ دو؛ میں تمہیں اَبھَے (بے خوفی) عطا کرتا ہوں۔ اور اے دیوتاؤ! دیر نہ کرو—جلد ہی تری دیو (تین جہانوں کے) سُورگ کو پھر حاصل کرو۔”

Viṣṇu reassures the devas, instructing them to abandon fear and promising divine protection (abhaya), enabling them to regain heaven.
“Abhaya” means fearlessness granted by divine authority—an assurance of safety and stability under Viṣṇu’s protection.
The verse teaches courage rooted in trust: fear should be relinquished when one is aligned with dharma and supported by rightful divine guidance.
