FAQs

It highlights proper protocol: the gods, after being instructed by Brahmā, first offer reverence to the Lord (īśa) and then depart in an orderly, appropriate manner (yathāyogam).

“Kamalayoni” (“lotus-womb/lotus-born”) is a common epithet of Brahmā, indicating his emergence from the lotus associated with cosmic creation imagery.

It teaches humility and disciplined action: one should bow with respect to rightful authority/the divine, and then act according to one’s proper role and duties rather than impulsively.
