शनैश्चरन्प्रभुरथ हंससंज्ञितः सृजन्जगद्विहरति कालपर्यये । अथ चैवं शुचिर्भूत्वा वरयामास वै तपः

پھر پروردگار، آہستہ آہستہ چلتے ہوئے اور “ہنس” کے نام سے معروف، جہانوں کو رچتا ہے اور زمانے کے چکروں کے پھیر میں اُن میں لیلا کرتا ہے۔ اس کے بعد یوں پاک ہو کر اُس نے یقیناً تپسیا اختیار کی۔
