युगे युगे च रक्षामि मार्कंडेयाखिलं जगत् । तदेतत्कथितं सर्वं मार्कंडेयावधारय

اے مارکنڈے! ہر ہر یُگ میں میں ہی تمام جہان کی حفاظت کرتا ہوں۔ یوں یہ سب کچھ بیان کر دیا گیا؛ اے مارکنڈے، اسے خوب سمجھ کر دل میں بٹھا لو۔
