सद्वंशान्वयपूतस्य न्याय्यं कुरुकुलोद्वह । शृणुष्वादिपुराणेषु देवेभ्यश्च यथा श्रुति
sadvaṃśānvayapūtasya nyāyyaṃ kurukulodvaha | śṛṇuṣvādipurāṇeṣu devebhyaśca yathā śruti
اے خاندانِ کُرو کے برگزیدہ، نیک نسب و پاکیزہ سلسلۂ نسب سے مطہّر! جو بات حق و مناسب ہے اسے سنو، جیسا کہ قدیم پُرانوں میں اور دیوتاؤں سے منقول ویدک شروتی میں سنا گیا ہے۔
