निवार्य तं द्विजं रामो वसिष्ठं वाक्यमब्रवीत् । किं मयाद्य च कर्तव्यं कार्यमेवं विधे स्थिते

nivārya taṃ dvijaṃ rāmo vasiṣṭhaṃ vākyamabravīt | kiṃ mayādya ca kartavyaṃ kāryamevaṃ vidhe sthite

اس برہمن کو روک کر رام نے وِسِشٹھ سے کہا: “آج میں کیا کروں؟ جب تقدیر نے معاملہ یوں کر دیا ہے تو میرا فرض کیا ہے؟”
