सामान्यां दक्षिणां लब्ध्वा एक एव निगूहति । नास्तिकीभावनिरतः स वै प्रेतोभिजायते

معمول کی دَکْشِنا (نذرانہ) پا کر اگر کوئی اسے اکیلا ہی چھپا لے (بانٹے نہیں) اور ناستک مزاج میں لگا رہے، تو وہ یقیناً پریت بن کر پیدا ہوتا ہے۔
