एवमुक्तास्ततो देवा अनुज्ञाप्य पितामहं । शतक्रतुं पुरस्कृत्य दधीचेराश्रमं ययुः

evamuktāstato devā anujñāpya pitāmahaṃ | śatakratuṃ puraskṛtya dadhīcerāśramaṃ yayuḥ

یوں کہے جانے پر دیوتاؤں نے پِتامہ (برہما) سے اجازت لے کر رخصت لی۔ شتکرتو (اِندر) کو پیشوا بنا کر وہ ددھیچی کے آشرم کی طرف روانہ ہوئے۔
