गौरीं कन्यां तथा कुर्यात्पुराणश्रवणं हि यः । पुत्रो वै जायते तस्य सर्वपातकनाशनम्

gaurīṃ kanyāṃ tathā kuryātpurāṇaśravaṇaṃ hi yaḥ | putro vai jāyate tasya sarvapātakanāśanam

جو شخص کنیا کو گوری کے روپ میں آراستہ کرے اور پُران کے شروَن کا اہتمام کرے، اس کے ہاں یقیناً ایسا بیٹا پیدا ہوتا ہے جو تمام پاپوں کا ناس کرنے والا ہوتا ہے۔
