यदि भुंक्ते नरः कश्चित्पात्यः सोऽपि कुलान्नरः । गोबीजहंता यो विप्रच्छेदकश्च दलस्य च

اگر کوئی آدمی اسے کھا لے تو وہ بھی پَتِت (گرا ہوا) ہو جاتا ہے اور اپنے خاندان کو بھی گرا دیتا ہے۔ اسی طرح گائے کے بیج/نسل کو ہلاک کرنے والا، برہمن کو نقصان پہنچانے والا، اور جماعت میں پھوٹ ڈالنے والا بھی (پَتِت) ہے۔
