एवं दृष्ट्वा तटे स्थित्वा यमुनामवलोकयन् । वसुदेवोऽपि दुःखार्तो विललापातिचिंतया
evaṃ dṛṣṭvā taṭe sthitvā yamunāmavalokayan | vasudevo'pi duḥkhārto vilalāpāticiṃtayā
یہ دیکھ کر، کنارے پر کھڑا یمنا کو تکتا ہوا، وسودیو غم سے نڈھال ہو کر شدید فکر میں آہ و زاری کرنے لگا۔
