किंचिन्न्यूने तु विधिजे महोदय इति स्मृतः । अरुणोदयवेलायां शुक्ला माघस्य सप्तमी ॥ १११ ॥

Transliteration

kiṃcinnyūne tu vidhije mahodaya iti smṛtaḥ | aruṇodayavelāyāṃ śuklā māghasya saptamī || 111 ||

Translation

اگر وہ سنگم کچھ کم ہو تو ودھاتا نے اسے ‘مہودَی’ کہا ہے—یعنی ارونودَی کے وقت ماگھ کی شُکل سپتمی۔
