Narada
Vrata: Ekādaśī-vrata
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It elevates Ekadashi as a hallmark Vaishnava discipline—an ongoing, twice-monthly vow—framed as a regulated sādhana that sustains devotion and purity through a defined ritual structure.
By calling Ekadashi a distinctive practice of great-souled Vaishnavas, the verse links bhakti to steady, periodic self-restraint and Vishnu-centered observance rather than occasional or irregular piety.
It implies calendrical and ritual precision: observing Ekadashi in both pakṣas (lunar fortnights) and following a tridin-ātmakī vidhi requires correct tithi-based timing and adherence to procedural rules (kalā/gaṇanā and ritual vidhi).
