sarvāsādhyakṛtaṃ kartuṃ pravṛttāṃstānuvāca ha | mohinyuvāca | saṃdehastu jaḍau hyeṣa svalpo vā svamatiryathā || 35 ||
Mohinī
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: hasya
It frames doubt (saṃdeha) as a product of limited understanding: what seems “big” or “small” depends on one’s inner clarity, implying that discernment dissolves delusion.
By pointing out that doubt is “dull,” the verse supports bhakti as a remedy: steady devotion and trust reduce wavering of mind, making spiritual effort consistent rather than hesitant.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught directly; the practical takeaway is mental discipline—recognizing doubt as a cognitive limitation to be corrected through right understanding and practice.
