Determination of Tithi for Fasts, Parana, and Pitri Rites
षष्ठी चैकादशी भूप धर्मकामार्थलिप्सुभिः । पूर्वविद्धा द्विजश्रेष्ठाः कर्तव्या सप्तमी सदा ॥ ११ ॥
ṣaṣṭhī caikādaśī bhūpa dharmakāmārthalipsubhiḥ | pūrvaviddhā dvijaśreṣṭhāḥ kartavyā saptamī sadā || 11 ||
اے بادشاہ! جو لوگ دھرم، کام اور ارتھ کے طالب ہیں انہیں ششٹھی اور ایکادشی کے ورت پوروِدّھا ہونے پر ہی کرنے چاہییں۔ اے دْوِج شریشٹھ! سپتمی کا ورت بھی ہمیشہ اسی قاعدے سے ادا کرنا چاہیے۔
