Honoring the Mother (Mātṛpūjanam): Consent, Equity, and Dana to Restore Household Dharma

एष धर्मोऽन्यथाऽन्यायो जायते धर्मसंक्षयः । श्रुत्वा तु मातृवचनं प्रहष्टेनान्तरात्मनो ॥ ३३ ॥

eṣa dharmo'nyathā'nyāyo jāyate dharmasaṃkṣayaḥ | śrutvā tu mātṛvacanaṃ prahaṣṭenāntarātmano || 33 ||

یہی دھرم ہے؛ اس کے خلاف کرنا ناانصافی ہے، اور اسی سے دھرم کا زوال پیدا ہوتا ہے۔ مگر ماں کے کلام کو سن کر وہ دل ہی دل میں مسرور ہو گیا۔
