The Narrative of the Pativrata

तिष्ठध्वं पितुरादेशादिमां शुश्रूषये ह्यहम् । स एवमुक्त्वा गत्वा तु बाहुभ्यां परिगृह्य वै । क्रमे पञ्चदशे प्राप्ते पर्यंके त्ववरोपयत् ॥ २७ ॥

tiṣṭhadhvaṃ piturādeśādimāṃ śuśrūṣaye hyaham | sa evamuktvā gatvā tu bāhubhyāṃ parigṛhya vai | krame pañcadaśe prāpte paryaṃke tvavaropayat || 27 ||

باپ کے حکم کے مطابق تم یہیں ٹھہرو؛ میں ہی اس کی خدمت کروں گا۔ یہ کہہ کر وہ گیا اور دونوں بازوؤں سے اسے اٹھا کر، پندرھویں قدم پر پہنچتے ہی اسے پلنگ پر بٹھا دیا۔
