Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 83

The Narration of the Trayodaśī Vow Observed Throughout the Twelve Months

गुरुं समर्च्य वस्त्राद्यैः प्रतिमां तां निवेदयेत् । द्विजेभ्यो दक्षणां शक्त्या दत्वा नत्वा विसृज्य च ॥ ८२ ॥

guruṃ samarcya vastrādyaiḥ pratimāṃ tāṃ nivedayet | dvijebhyo dakṣaṇāṃ śaktyā datvā natvā visṛjya ca || 82 ||

گرو کو کپڑوں وغیرہ سے اچھی طرح پوج کر کے وہ پرتِما نذر کرے۔ پھر دَویجوں کو اپنی استطاعت کے مطابق دکشِنا دے کر، پرنام کر کے، رسم کو باادب اختتام تک پہنچائے۔
