FAQs

It unites two key devotional recognitions: the Divine as protective power that carries one beyond adversity (Durgā) and as the transcendent sign worshipped as the Liṅga, the Lord of all sacred marks—pointing to one Reality that both protects and reveals.

Bhakti here is expressed as namas (reverent surrender) through many epithets—remembering the deity as protector, inner witness, and worship-symbol—training the mind to see divinity in both inner awareness (sākṣin) and outer ritual form (liṅga).

Primarily mantra-prayoga (practical application of sacred utterance) supported by Vyākaraṇa-based precision in epithets and compounds; it also aligns with ritual usage (Kalpa) where liṅga-pūjā and protective invocations are performed with correctly formed names.
