Narada
Vrata: Aśoka-vrata (Trirātra context)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It emphasizes that a vow/observance becomes complete through three linked acts—proper worship (pūjā) done by vidhi, honoring a brāhmaṇa with food (bhojana), and sealing the rite with gifting (dāna/dakṣiṇā).
Bhakti here is expressed as disciplined reverence: worship offered with correct procedure and humility, followed by service to the learned (feeding a dvija) and generosity, showing devotion through conduct rather than sentiment alone.
The verse points to adherence to vidhāna (ritual injunctions), reflecting Kalpa/Vedāṅga practice—performing pūjā and concluding with dakṣiṇā and brāhmaṇa-bhojana as standard components of prescribed rites.
