madhyāhne pūjayitvenāmekabhaktaṃ samāpayet | śakto bhaktaścopavāsaṃ pare'hni vidhinā tataḥ || 42 ||
دوپہر میں پوجا کر کے آخر میں ایک بھکت (ایک بار کھانا) سے سمापन کرے؛ پھر جو بھکت قادر ہو وہ اگلے دن ودھی کے مطابق اُپواس رکھے۔
Sage Narada (teaching in a summarized procedural instruction; traditional dialogue context with Sanatkumara line)
Vrata: Rādhā-vrata (continuation)
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It frames vrata practice as a disciplined sequence—midday worship, regulated intake (single meal), and then fasting—showing devotion expressed through orderly self-restraint and prescribed ritual conduct.
Bhakti is presented as actionable: worship (pūjā) combined with niyama (regulated conduct). The devotee’s love is demonstrated through controlled senses (eka-bhakta) and sincere austerity (upavāsa) performed according to vidhi.
It highlights ritual procedure and timing (vidhi and madhyāhna), aligning with Kalpa-style practical ritual science—how and when to perform worship and fasting as part of vrata observance.
