It teaches that transmitting sacred knowledge through writing and gifting it—together with auspicious dāna like a cow and gold—performed with proper honor on Viṣuva, becomes a direct merit-bearing act leading toward the “supreme abode” (paramaṁ padam).
By emphasizing reverent offering and honoring a worthy recipient (vipra) on a sacred time-marker (Viṣuva), the verse frames devotion as expressed through dharmic service, generosity, and support of sacred teaching—actions traditionally aligned with Vishnu-oriented merit leading to the highest state.
The timing “Viṣuva” reflects Jyotiṣa (Vedic astronomy/astrology) used to select auspicious ritual moments, showing how calendrical science supports dāna and vrata observances in Narada Purana ritual guidance.
