Transliteration

vyāsena vedaviduṣā nārasiṃhopavarṇane | upakramya taduddiṣṭaṃ caturddaśasahasrakam || 2 ||

Translation

ویدوں کے جاننے والے ویاس نے نرسِمھ کے بیان کا آغاز کرکے، جیسا کہ وہاں مذکور ہے، چودہ ہزار شلوکوں پر مشتمل ایک حصہ بیان کیا۔
