Matsya Purana — The Strategy to Defeat Tāraka: Pārvatī’s Birth, Shloka 7

*देवा ऊचुः त्वमोंकारो ऽस्यङ्कुराय प्रसूतो विश्वस्यात्मानन्तभेदस्य पूर्वम् सम्भूतस्यानन्तरं सत्त्वमूर्ते संहारेच्छोस्ते नमो रुद्रमूर्ते //

*devā ūcuḥ tvamoṃkāro 'syaṅkurāya prasūto viśvasyātmānantabhedasya pūrvam sambhūtasyānantaraṃ sattvamūrte saṃhārecchoste namo rudramūrte //

دیوتاؤں نے کہا—آپ ہی اس کائنات کے بیج-انکُر کی صورت ‘اومکار’ ہیں؛ لامتناہی امتیازات سے پہلے قائم، اور عالم کی روح۔ آپ پہلے ظاہر ہوتے ہیں اور بعد میں بھی باقی رہتے ہیں۔ اے سَتْو کی مورت، اے فنا کا ارادہ رکھنے والے، اے رُدر-صورت—آپ کو نمسکار ہے۔
