yathārheṇa tu pādyena pūjayāmāsa vāsavaḥ śakrapraṇītāṃ tāṃ pūjāṃ pratigṛhya yathāvidhi //
This verse is not about pralaya; it highlights correct ritual protocol—honoring a revered being with pādya and ensuring worship is performed and accepted yathāvidhi (as prescribed).
It reinforces the dharmic duty of proper hospitality and reverent reception—offering pādya and other upacāras to worthy guests, elders, and deities in the correct order and manner.
Ritually, it specifies a key upacāra (pādya) and stresses yathāvidhi performance—an essential principle in temple and domestic pūjā where prescribed sequence and propriety determine the rite’s completeness.
