श्रद्धा च नो मा व्यगमद् बहु देयं च नो ऽस्त्विति अन्नं च नो बहु भवेद् अतिथींश्च लभेमहि //
śraddhā ca no mā vyagamad bahu deyaṃ ca no 'stviti annaṃ ca no bahu bhaved atithīṃśca labhemahi //
ہم سے شردھا کبھی جدا نہ ہو؛ ہمارے پاس خیرات دینے کو بہت کچھ ہو۔ ہمارے ہاں اناج فراواں ہو؛ اور ہمیں عزت کے لائق مہمان میسر آئیں۔
It does not discuss pralaya; it is a dharmic benediction emphasizing śraddhā, generosity, and the auspiciousness of abundance and hospitality.
It reflects the householder (and by extension a righteous ruler’s) ideal: maintain faith, keep resources for giving (dāna), ensure food supply (annam), and practice atithi-satkara—treating guests as a sacred opportunity for merit.
No Vāstu or iconographic rule appears directly; ritually, it supports annadāna and guest-honoring as core household rites tied to daily dharma.
