Knowledge is conditioned by the knower’s faculties and domain; therefore, one should not absolutize one’s own viewpoint. This supports tolerance, careful inquiry, and the recognition that bondage can persist despite partial knowledge.
Didactic theology/ethics embedded in narrative (ancillary to pañcalakṣaṇa). It serves as a bridge from human psychology to the cosmic principle of Mahāmāyā.
The verse hints that cognition is ‘field-bound’ (kṣetra-baddha): awareness moves within a designed range. Mahāmāyā is the architect of these ranges, and transcendence requires moving beyond viṣaya-gocara.
