सोऽहं न वेद्मि पुत्राणां कुशलाकुशलात्मिकाम् ।
प्रवृत्तिं स्वजनानाञ्च दाराणाञ्चात्र संस्थितः ॥
so 'haṃ na vedmi putrāṇāṃ kuśalākuśalātmikām /
pravṛttiṃ svajanānāñ ca dārāṇāñ cātra saṃsthitaḥ
اس لیے مجھے معلوم نہیں کہ میرے بیٹوں کی حالت کیسی ہے، خیر میں ہیں یا شر میں؛ اور میں یہاں ٹھہرا ہوں تو اپنے لوگوں اور اپنی بیوی کی کیفیت بھی نہیں جانتا۔
