ततः कलावतीत्येतन्मम नाम महात्मना । गृहीतायाः कृतं पित्रा गन्धर्वेण शुभानना ॥

tataḥ kalāvatī ity etan mama nāma mahātmanā | gṛhītāyāḥ kṛtaṃ pitrā gandharveṇa śubhānanā ||

پھر، اے خوب رُو، ایک شریف گندھرو نے مجھے باپ کی طرح قبول کر کے پرورش کی اور میرا نام ‘کلاوتی’ رکھا۔
